As the name suggests, The Blacklist is an American crime thriller television series. It is based on the story of Raymond “Red” Reddington, an ex U.S. Navy Officer who turns into a high profile criminal. He surrenders himself to the FBI and handovers to them a list of most dangerous criminals in the world. He then helps the FBI in capturing the criminals.

The series stars James Spader in the character of Raymond “Red” Reddington. It also stars Diego Klattenhoff, Ryan Eggold and Hanry Lennix. The show received a good critical response with 85% approval rating from Rotten Tomatoes. The acting of James Spader as the main protagonist was highly admired by both audiences and critics.

Five seasons of the show have been on the floor yet. The sixth season was just released on May 2018.
